Larry Wood joins us this week to talk about the contests and cartoons from the current issue of the New Yorker.
We go over the New Yorker contests with some disagreement, but the podcast gang mostly agrees with the judges picks for the CartoonStock contest (except for Paul, who did not like one of the finalist picks).
The contest did generate over $1000 for the cash pot, so we were all happy to see that the changes to the contest were generating more entries.
We discuss the winning entry for Contest #993 (Hog heavin'.)
Finalists for Contest #995 (Life's a pitch.)
Current Contest #997 (Training up.)
